BLESSING BEGINS AT HOME

The blessing of the Lord be upon you; we bless you in the name of the Lord!
Psalm 129:8

The blessing begins at home, in the parent-child relationship. Children who receive the gift of the blessing from their parents have a spiritual and emotional head start in life. They receive a sturdy foundation of love and acceptance.

Studying the blessing in Scriptures, we have found its principles can be used in any intimate relationship. Husbands and wives can apply these principles to bless each other. Friendships can be deepened and strengthened. Church families can bring warmth, healing, and hope to brothers and sisters in Christ, many of whom never received an earthly blessing from their parents.

In fact, the ingredients of the blessing we give each other are the very relationship components God uses to bless His children—every one of us.

Pray that the blessing will begin in your home, then reach out to warm and transform all the relationships in your life.
